1. How can I install the program?
You need to download the program's setup file from
this website. After the setup has
downloaded, run it and follow the instructions which can take you
through installation process.
2. How can I run the program?
After installation has finished (see Question 1), you can run the
program by clicking "Start->Programs->AlphaWipe Tracks Cleaner 2008->AlphaWipe Tracks Cleaner 2008" menu item.
3. How can I perform the clean up process?
To start the clean up process, start the program (see Question 2),
click the "Outset ... " button and press the "Start Erasing" button.
4. How can I restore the entries, removed by the program?
After you remove any track entry, you can restore it
using quarantine capabilities. To restore the previously deleted tracks
start the program (see Question 2), click the "Back up ... " button,
navigate to the "Quarantine List" tab, select the quarantined data in the appeared
list and click the "Restore" button. All the data will be restored from quarantine.
5. How can I see the log of the program's events?
After you start the program (see Question 2), click the "Back up ..." button,
navigate to the "Events Log" tab, select any events log in the appeared list
and click the "View Log" button.
6. How can I see the list of running processes or kill the process?
After you start the program (see Question 2), click the "Clean up ... " button,
navigate to the "Process Explorer" tab, select any process in the appeared list
and click the "Kill Selected Process" button to kill the selected process or
"Show Properties" button to view the process properties. If you can't see an
entry in the list, please click the "Update List" button first.
7. How can I see the list of installed browser modules or delete the installed browser module?
After you start the program (see Question 2), click the "Clean up ... " button,
navigate to the "IE Modules" tab, select any installed browser module in the
appeared list and click the "Delete Selected Module" button to delete the
selected module or "Show Properties" button to view the module properties.
If you can't see an entry in the list, please click the "Update List" button first.
8. How can I see/manage the list of autorun programs?
After you start the program (see Question 2), click the "Clean up ... " button,
navigate to the "Startup Manager" tab and check the checkbox on the left of each autorun
entry to enable the entry or uncheck the checkbox to disable the entry from
starting with system. If you can't see an entry in the list,
please click the "Update List" button first.
9. How can I see/manage the cookies, stored on my PC?
After you start the program (see Question 2), click the "Clean up ... " button,
navigate to the "IE Cookies" tab, check any cookie in the appeared list and
click the "Erase Selected" button. If you can't see an entry in the list,
please click the "Update List" button first.
10. How can I register the program?
After you start the program (see Question 2), click the "unlock" link in the top menu,
enter your registration code into proper field and press
the "OK" button and you can see the registration results.
If the registration code was accepted, you should see the "Thanks for registering ..."
information message. Otherwise please correct the data entered and try again.
If you don't have the registration number, please visit the
order page and follow the instructions on page.
11. Can the program start every time when I turn on my PC?
Yes, of course. To adjust this setting start the program (see Question 2),
click the "Set up ..." button, navigate to the "General Settings" button, check the
"Autostart with OS" checkbox and click the "Save Settings" button.
12. I try to start the program but can't see the program window! What should I do?
By default the program starts stays in "minimized" mode and adds the
icon on the system tray. You can see the program main window by clicking the
program icon on the system tray. To modify the start mode behaviour
click the "Set up ..." button, navigate to the "Startup/Shutdown" tab,
uncheck the "Start program in minimized mode" checkbox and click the "Save Settings" button.
13. How can I uninstall the program?
You can uninstall the program by clicking "Start->Programs->AlphaWipe Tracks Cleaner 2008->Uninstall AlphaWipe Tracks Cleaner 2008" menu item
or use the "Start->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs" capabilities.
14. I try to run the program and receive the "C++ exception" ("Access Violation" etc.) window. What should I do?
In this case, you can use the Dr. Watson program capabilities for creating the error log.
The Dr. Watson program is a part of the standard Windows components and can be found in the system
directory. If you can't find the program - you can download it from the Microsoft website.
To create the log, please start the Dr. Watson, then run the program.
In addition, please create a screenshot of the error and send the generated log with screenshot to us. In the email please, describe in detail which operation system is installed on your PC, your Internet Explorer version and which actions led to this error. If Dr. Watson can't create the error log - please write to us for additional instructions.
